#3 out of 3 Life-sized impressions of a Trigger Fish that was caught outside of Ocean City and donated by Skilligalee Seafood in Berlin, Maryland to a DIY Gyotaku paint night I did with Maryland Coastal Bays in the fall of 2025. This is actually the first Trigger fish I’ve ever painted and pressed! After the paint night with MD Coastal Bays, I got to take this Trigger fish home and after I painted it and pulled a few pressings out of it, I rinsed it off, roasted it whole and plated it over a bed of fresh steamed rice. This series of Trigger Fish holds fun memories of making new friends, forging strong community partnerships, and working together to help bring people together.
