Description
This Original Lane Snapper was caught in Belize on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026. I brought my paint and paper supplies to Belize, just in case I caught something that was worth bringing back home. I brought this fish back to the room, cleaned it up, painted & pressed it a few times, then packed those black & white pressings in my bag to bring back home to Salisbury, Maryland.
Once we got back, I went to work on layering colors, shading in some flecks of gold, and tidying up the lines of this Lane Snapper to pay tribute to the fish, the fond memories of the trip, and the awesome people that we got to be in kahoots with while we were enjoying our 10yr anniversary in the Caribbean Sea.
This is a standard frame size 10×12″ original, one of a kind, life sized Gyotaku.
